'capturing the moment' over 24 years ago.
My husband Joseph is my best friend, encourager,
comedian and of course my
'right hand photography man.'

I've been capturing memories since 1999. Joseph joined me in 2005 as my 'right hand man' at weddings. He not only shoots all of the candids and helps me pose, but also is a huge part in keeping people laughing and feeling comfortable.
Dolly is my 'little' sister and the perfect completion to our team. She is an incredible photographer and does pretty much all of the editing and enhancing. She is behind the scenes on most of the newborn photos you see, as she calms and swaddles babies, and gets them in those perfect angelic positions.

We are based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. We photograph a lot of weddings in Gettysburg and Maryland but also travel for weddings in other states and at times, other countries... like this trip to Egypt!

I was raised in a large family and always enjoyed setting up my little siblings for their 'photoshoots' in front of a curtained window or mom's fabric. Fast forward to the photo above of me taking my youngest sister's wedding photos! Time sure flies!
At age 17 I started working at a portrait studio and my favorite part was to see the Mom's expressions when I got their child to smile and captured that 'perfect photo.' That feeling is still my driving force in every photo that I take.
One of my favorite movies when I was a teenager was "The Wedding Planner" because I loved watching Jennifer Lopez plan weddings and fix problems that came up during the event. That dream of mine became a reality as I photographed weddings. I purchased a pouch just like "The Wedding Planner" had and am always ready at a moment's notice to fix something that goes wrong at a wedding, because there is always something that goes awry no matter how hard you plan; from using stain wipes to get brown Lilly pollen off of the front of a wedding dress, to using scissors to quick snip the bodice and get the bride's dress to fit.
Joseph always enjoyed taking photos, collecting cameras and making people smile. As I got to know him and see his love for candid photos, I asked him to help me at weddings. So, it began! Since then, he has been at hundreds of weddings with me as my 'right hand photographer-man!'
Joseph is so much more than my candid photographer, he is a 'Jack of All Trades'. Example: Bride's lace train ripped. So, Joseph grabbed a needle and thread and sewed it up real fast before she walked down the isle! He's not afraid to wade in the creek to get that 'perfect shot' or stop traffic so I can get the angle I'm looking for.
Dolly.... I love to brag on my little sister! She is sweet, caring, and can get a huge job done, in a timely manner, with everyone still happy with her! She is amazing at being in charge, but yet prefers to be behind the scenes. When she isn't behind the camera, she is soothing a baby during a newborn photoshoot or in the office editing photos.

OUR NEWEST ADDITION
Meet Ariel, our very talented daughter who has been training since infancy! All of our older children have been helping us with photoshoots for most of their lives, but more recently Ariel has begun shooting video clips as well as helping to pose with newborn photoshoots. We love that this business allows us to get our family involved and to train the next generation to work hard, grow relationships with people and have fun while they are at it.
